A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an intensive treatment approach that provides comprehensive care for patients recovering from addiction and mental health challenges.[1] At Embers Recovery, our PHP offers a full-time treatment experience that allows patients to receive in-depth therapeutic support while maintaining some connection to their personal lives.

During the PHP, patients participate in a comprehensive daily treatment schedule that includes therapy sessions, skill-building workshops, and psychiatric care. The program addresses both substance use disorders and potential mental health conditions, creating a holistic approach to recovery. Patients typically spend most of their day engaged in treatment activities, returning home or to the Embers Sober Living Community in the evening.[2]

This level of care is ideal for patients who need significant professional support but do not require 24-hour medical supervision. The PHP addiction program offers a deep dive into recovery, providing patients with intensive therapeutic interventions, practical life skills, and personalized care. Patients work closely with medical professionals, therapists, and support staff to develop coping mechanisms, understand the root causes of their challenges, and create a sustainable path to healing.
